Or maybe that should read "crumb-ly" person??? Crummy is more catchy. But have no fear, I have no problems with my self esteem. My mother will tell you so. And I'm starting to get the feeling that you may be seeing a lot of photos of my food for the next couple weeks. Sorry about that. Dave made me blueberry muffins and peanut butter hot chocolate today as breakfast in bed. Yes sir, peanut butter. It even had a melted one on the bottom as promised.
The curse of acid reflux has started kicking in at this point in my pregnancy, so my diet has gotten substantially blander these days (nilla wafers have sadly replaced my Tabasco cheez-its as my standard work food). But today I took a chance. And I may regret it later, but it was the best lunch ever. What's with the oats? I have no idea but they sounded good.
Last night. Um sort of.... Semi home made. If western family southwestern marinade counts. Dave peeled all the potatoes for home made mashed potatoes (just because we had them left over in the pantry), and we had some Martinelli's chilling in the fridge from one of my sweet bosses at work, so we broke out the wine glasses. I decided to add some candles while Dave was setting the table and laughed when I turned around and he'd set our two places as if we live in a mansion and had a butler to pass things from one end of the table to the other. It was nice.
"Now" - I'm not surprised that one's first! It seems like with a baby on the way I want everything done yesterday. Or at least now.
Who knew I talked about Halloween on my other blog so much? I'm guessing that it just takes posts from the front page and I haven't blogged much since Oct, but I still find that funny. Little, cute and photo aren't too surprising, and I try to keep "family" stuff off that blog, but I thought it might show up somewhere.
I am glad to see that Sam made the cut! I however did not. ;) Maybe I need to start carpooling with David.
This photo was from our layover in Paris on the way to Venice last November. Good thing we did a lot of traveling already before all the airlines started charging crazy fees.
