I've been trying to find a "mom and me" swim class in my area; but so far - no luck. So I started reading the book my mom used to teach my brother to swim when he was just a baby. Hmmm. Doing everything wrong so far. Check.
So we started out again. Penny has only had three baths ever in the tub, and we were filling it with just 2 or 3 inches of water and letting her splash and play. Apparently that teaches them that pools always have bottoms which is bad, so you're supposed to fill the tub 3 inches from the top and support them while they're floating.
This is the wrong (but fun) way. Click here if you get the emails and don't see a video.
For the record; the hairy leg is not mine.
Be sure to notice the awesome bed head and knots in the back of her hair when david turns her around to show her bum. She was doing really well until dad accidentally let her roll over and get dunked but we didn't get that on camera.
We've moved!
